Where it started...

My weekends as a child were largely spent wherever my Dad's woodturning stall took us! When my brother and I weren't off exploring, I would love to wrap the customers freshly purchased items up for them and sort their change (no cards back in those days!).  So, after many years of craft fairs and sales, maybe it was inevitable that I would one day open my own gift shop.

I opened my Etsy shop in November 2019, where I sell scarves and gift wrap every item sold. I really wanted the customer to smile upon receiving their new scarf ,so the gift wrapping was never an 'added extra' - it was always going to be on every order and will continue to be this way. The little extra touches are what makes receiving items so special, especially when gifts are going direct to recipients with sweet gift messages. The feedback I receive proves the efforts are appreciated and more often than not, will mean customers come back to my shop again and again.

I gradually started to widen my range of products which continues to grow and I now sell home decor items along with, you guessed it... my Dad's beautiful wood-turned products.

It's now May 2023 and last week the Etsy shop reached 17,000 sales! I can't tell you how proud I am to say that. I remember starting out, I wondered how sellers got to 1000 sales and every single sale was (and still is) amazing. My whole family would celebrate each and every notification of a sale! They were exciting days and I really look forward to growing the business with even more excitement over the next few years!
